- Mr Roger Ramseier is a Director of Thyme Technologies. He has an IT Technical background with 15 years of financial and business experience. This has allowed him to focus on his business in areas such as Pastel Partner, Pastel Xpress, Pastel Payroll, and Pastel Evolution - specializing in all Modules.
Thyme Technologies are SDK (Software Development Kit) integrators and can repair, integrate and convert any readable data from most SQL type databases.
- Mr. Wiehann Olivier is a Chartered Accountant, Registered Auditor and Partner in the Audit Division at Mazars in Cape Town. He has completed a Blockchain Technologies: Business Innovation and Application course through Sloan School of Management at MIT and is also a Certified Bitcoin Professional (CBP) with the CryptoCurrency Certification Consortium (C4).
Terms such as backup, hosted services, cybersecurity, malware, ethical hacking and VOIP have emerged into the language of accounting software. The future of accounting software is changing rapidly as we move from in-office hardware servers to web-hosted multifunction solutions.
Mr Ramseier will unpack and give insights into the future of accounting software services in the next five years, assisting our members to plan effectively to balance their asset investment value versus the cloud-based solutions. Where is it now and where will it be.
Mr Olivier will provide a brief explanation on:
What cryptocurrencies are? What their benefits and uses are.
He will also discuss the technology behind some cases Mazars have found so you can obtain an understanding of cryptocurrencies, the current impact of these digital assets and what we can expect in the future?
