Magda Snyckers is an Executive in ENSafrica's Tax department. She specialises in providing tax and exchange control advice to corporates, trusts, funds and other entities in the financial services sector. Her experience includes advising clients on income tax, capital gains tax, dividends tax, withholding tax on interest, international tax (including double taxation relief), securities transfer tax and exchange controls.

Magda is recognised as a leading and/or recommended lawyer by: Best Lawyers® 2021, 2020, 2019, 2018 – Tax (South Africa) and The Legal 500 EMEA 2021 – Investment Funds - Recommended /Key Lawyer (South Africa)

Qualifications:

BLC (University of Pretoria), LLB (University of Pretoria), LLM in Tax (cum laude) (University of Pretoria), Higher Certificate in Financial Markets (The Academy of Financial Markets) and Admitted as an attorney of the High Court of South Africa.

Michael Reifarth is an Executive and chartered accountant in the Tax department at ENSafrica. He specialises in the tax implications of domestic and offshore financing structures and investments, as well as advising on the implementation of specialised banking and investment products.

Michael has acted for clients in the financial service industry, manufacturing and retail sectors. Michael's experience includes tax compliance and risk management services. He also has been involved in successfully obtaining tax rulings from the South African Revenue Service.

He is a member of the South African Institute of Chartered Accountants.
