The Agribusiness Portfolio Committee is honoured to be hosting the Department of Trade, Industry and Competition (the dtic); the Small Enterprise Finance Agency (SEFA) and Western Cape Department of Agriculture (Elsenburg).

The objective of the meeting is to engage with key stakeholders on access to funding and resources available to provincial Agri-businesses, especially during the Covid-19 pandemic.

Information will be provided on the Department of Trade, Industry and Competition's (the dtic) Agro Processing Support Scheme, the Small Enterprise Finance Agency (SEFA) finance support and the WC Government's support for emerging and current farmers & producers.

The meeting will provide an overview of various funding sources & resources available, the application process, criteria and address any related queries.

Members involved or interested in the following sub-sectors are welcome to participate:

• Food and Beverage processing
• (Animal) Feed Production
• Fibre Production (Wool, alpaca, etc.)
• Fertiliser Production
• Furniture Manufacturing (wood).
