Being emotionally mature (having high Emotional Intelligence) is a vital skill to cope with this challenging VUCA (V โ Volatile, U โ Uncertain, C โ Complex, and A โ Ambiguous) World.
A person with high emotional intelligence can manage his or her own impulses, communicate with others effectively, manage change well, solve problems and use humour to build rapport in tense situations.
Emotional intelligence also describes the ability to understand one's own feelings and that of a groups, and how these emotions can influence motivation and behaviour.
The workshop will focus on:
- defining and practicing self-management, self-awareness, self-regulation and self-motivation;
- understanding and managing emotions
- identifing the benefits of emotional intelligence; and
- relating emotional intelligence to the workplace.
