    Vice-Principal: Research, Postgraduate Studies, Innovation and Commercialisation at UNISA

    Professor Thenjiwe Meyiwa is a feminist scholar and Vice Principal for Research, Postgraduate Studies, Innovation, and Commercialisation at UNISA. With extensive experience in teaching, research, and administration, she has worked at various higher education institutions, including the HSRC. Meyiwa's expertise includes social science research and indigenous knowledge systems. She collaborates with government, universities, and NGOs, serving in leadership roles such as the Rural Women’s Movement Advisory Board and chairing evaluation committees. A prolific author and presenter, she has contributed significantly to academic and policy forums nationally and internationally.
