The Khayelitsha/Mitchells Plain chapter invites you to a webinar to celebrate women and to draw attention to the scourge of gender based violence, as well as highlight the important role that the private sector can play within this sphere.
The session will comprise of two segments, namely:
- An overview of gender based violence, the increase in reported cases during the lockdown and the important role that the private sector can play in fighting to end this scourge in our communities.
- Women professionals sharing their journey.
Guest Speaker Profiles:
Natasha Wagiet
Natasha is a Pro Bono Coordinator at ENSafrica in the Mitchell's Plain office and oversees ENSafrica's CSI portfolio.
Her experience includes advising on gender and child justice, human trafficking, liaising with various stakeholders from both government and civil society, conflict resolution, legal administration and advocacy.
Natasha is responsible for screening pro bono matters and coordinating consultations with ENSafrica's practitioners, as well as running legal awareness workshops.
Pfano Rasivhetshele
Pfano is an admitted attorney who is currently the Senior Human Resources Business Partner at ENSafrica where she is responsible for providing strategic partnering to the ENSafrica offices outside of South Africa by aligning HR initiatives to support Business.
Pfano has successfully graduated with an LLB degree from the University of the Witwatersrand. She has furthermore graduated with a Post Graduate Diploma in Business Administration from the Gordon Institute of Business Science, a Post Graduate Diploma in General Management from the Gordon Institute of Business Science and a certificate in Advanced Company Law from the University of the Witwatersrand.
Sarah Binge
Sarah is a Senior Associate in the Corporate Commercial Team at ENSafrica. She specialises in mergers and acquisitions, general corporate commercial law, company law related work and due diligence investigations. She has acted for private companies, listed and unlisted public companies including various banks and insurance companies, as well as entities in the public sector. Sarah graduated with a B SocSc (Politics and Law) from the University of Cape Town and an LLB degree from the University of Cape Town. She is furthermore an Admitted attorney and notary public of the High Court of South Africa.
