The South Peninsula Chapter invites you to attend a webinar with Dr Dean Chapman as our guest speaker.

Since stress may be defined as any change that causes physical, emotional or psychological strain, we are most definitely living and working in a time of extraordinary stress.

Covid-19 is fundamentally changing our world, and the volatility can easily throw our thinking "out of whack".

Guest Speaker Profile: Dr. Dean Chapman

Dr Chapman has a Doctorate in Philosophy, a Bachelor of Science (H) cum laude in mathematics and computer science, and a bit of an obsession with everything to do with meaningful living.

He is an educator, learner, father, son, friend, and citizen—but fundamentally just a humble human being like you.

Formerly a lecturer in Philosophy at the University of Cape Town (UCT), and before that at the University of Zululand. Dr Chapman has also worked as a teaching assistant at New York University (NYU), Princeton University, and at NYU's Centre for Bioethics. He is a National Philosophical Counselling Association accredited philosophical consultant), and an Honorary Research Affiliate of the Department of Philosophy at UCT.

Join us in this session to learn ways in which philosophy, including a little logic, can help us to think clearly and make balanced decisions.
