The Agribusiness Portfolio Committee is honoured to host Mr Aeren Young from EY Cova - Tax Consulting. The objective of the meeting is to present and discuss the concept of Carbon Credits and its application within business.

The presentation will discuss:

• What are Carbon Credits and it's relevance within the Agri sector;
• The benefits and value-add of Carbon Credits within one's business;
• Explain how the Agri sector can capitalise on Carbon Credits as a new opportunity, i.e. what processes and projects have the ability to generate carbon credits; and
• Define the process and business model of Carbon Credit opportunities, with relevance to the Agri sector
