The Cape Town Central Chapter invites you to a virtual business networking event with Dr. Nthabiseng Moleko, Lecturer at the University of Stellenbosch as our main guest speaker.
Dr Moleko will be sharing a story of hope to empower women to overcome fear and step into their destiny.
Dr Nthabiseng Moleko is a Lecturer, Researcher, Poet and Commissioner. She is the first woman in South Africa to have a doctorate in Philosophy. She serves as a Commissioner for the Commission for Gender Equality appointed by the President in 2017 and is the Deputy Chairperson of the Commission. She is also a Development Economist who was the first black South African appointed as core faculty member at the University of Stellenbosch Business School (USB) where she teaches Economics and Statistics. As a former CEO at the Joe Gqabi Economic Development Agency, Project manager and Researcher at the Eastern Cape Socio-Economic Consultative Council, she has worked extensively in the economic development sphere.
Guest speaker: Cecilia van der Walt
Cecilia will be sharing practical insights to help chart your way towards financial security in 2020 and beyond.
Cecilia qualified with a B-Accounting degree at the University of Stellenbosch. She continued her career as a Portfolio Manager at one of the largest Risk Financiers for SME's in South Africa. She also graduated, Cum Laude, with a Post Graduate Diploma in Business Management and Administration from the University of Stellenbosch. Cecilia is passionate about business, which has also led her to become a Financial Advisor at PPS. Her focus involves assisting professionals in making the best possible financial decisions, in order to grow and protect their wealth and leave a legacy to their loved-ones.

Shireen is a self-confessed entrepreneur – and proud of it! She loves running her own businesses and has done so for the past 5 years with great gusto and success. She believes in getting stuck into every aspect of business elbows deep and so finds herself wearing multiple hats.
Having worked in various different industries from Tourism and Hospitality to Property Management, Franchising and more. Her expertise and current focus lies in business efficiencies, learning and development, as well as personal motivation.
