Guest Speaker: Cobus Oelofse
We are very excited to have the iLembe Chamber of Commerce of the North Coast KZN join us and share thoughts on their journey via The Entrepreneur Contest which is now in its 10th year. We welcome Cobus Oelofse, CEO of the iLembe Chamber of Commerce, and some of the Entrepreneurs from the contest to share some og their thoughts with us.
Cobus is CEO of the Ilembe Chamber of Commerce and Tourism, an involved player in the KZN Ballito and Dolphin Coast region. This area has a track record of outperforming the average national growth statistics and is described as a boom area of South Africa for property and business interests. He gained 30 years of corporate experience with both JSE and London FTSE listed companies in mining, manufacturing, retail logistics & supply chain, and high-tech manufacturing & engineering where he held executive HR roles. Cobus holds a BA (Hons), B Comm, and Masters of Law (LLM) degrees.
Guest Speaker: Liza Ashton
Liza designed and executed an insightful research program on Entrepreneurial Attributes and Mindset which has been invaluable to the design of the iLembe Entrepreneur Programme.
She holds an M.Com degree in Human Resources Management and is an Industrial Psychologist. Liza has accumulated a wealth of consulting experience from a wide range of Human Resource projects and has a special interest in women's leadership. She has worked with CPA and the Matrix of Working Relationships and now holds the position of Managing Director of BIOSS Southern Africa. She has worked extensively in Africa, South America, Eastern Europe, and the USA.
