Situational awareness is one of the most important skills anyone can learn and it is the starting point of looking after your own safety and the people that surround you. By being prepared and understanding what to do in high stress situations, you will be able to remain calm and make rational decisions and observations where you or your family's safety is threatened.

Herman will give insight into what the basics of situational awareness is, how to effectively identify a threat and then how to communicate this effectively to the authorities using colour codes of awareness and the "OODA" loop (observe–orient–decide–act).
