The South Peninsula Chapter invites you to a webinar in celebration of youth month with guest speaker, Krystal Duncan-Williams, Project Lead at Youth Capital.

Social connections are important for access to resources, knowledge, and opportunities but rarely are they spoken about intentionally when it comes to young people and more specifically young entrepreneurs. Youth Capital released a report last year unpacking different types of social connections and the various actions one can take to grow your network and help young people to grow their networks. This talk will unpack some of our findings and insights.

Incubated by the DG Murray Trust, Youth Capital is a campaign that advocates for youth-centered and evidence-based solutions to youth unemployment. The campaign has joined the dots between young people's lived experiences and evidence by creating a national strategy to collaboratively tackle youth unemployment; the Action Plan prioritises ten systemic challenges that need to be addressed to ensure that young South Africans have the skills, opportunities, and support to get their first decent job.

Please join us for an educational talk.
