The Centre for Entrepreneurship in Partnership with DEDAT has supported and incubated 20 entrepreneurs in various industries over the 2020/2021 year. The trends in Manufacturing talk is further support to engage, encourage and cultivate a Tech Savvy and Innovation culture in the Centre.

Ansu Sooful: Azatron Leader & Founder

Ansu is a successful serial entrepreneur, social activist and technocrat. With 25 years experience in the ICT industry, Ansu's practical technical experience, coupled with his CEO experience of running technology companies, provides him with the expertise to assist large enterprises successfully execute their digital transformational strategies, while still meeting targets.

John Woodman: Co-Founder, UAV-Inspection

John is the Co-founder of UAV Inspection and first time entrepreneur with partner, Scott O'Connor. They each have 20 years experience in offshore oil and gas inspection work, and are transferring these technical skills into their new venture. Their aim is to become a market leader in the inspection field, using drones as a data collection tool.

Quintin Burger: Chief Marketing Officer, MECAD Systems

Quintin has spent 17 years engaging with Engineering companies across the Western Cape - empowering Design, Manufacturing and Sales teams to meet their company objectives. He runs a team of highly qualified and experienced engineers in Cape Town where they engage with modern challenges. With SOLIDWORKS based solutions, they are able to assist companies in every area of their business.

Riad Ahmed: Marketing Executive, Zhauns

Riad has been involved in the SME entrepreneurship space for the last 15 years and worked with local Government departments to set-up business hubs in South Africa. He assisted the Office of the President in Botswana for 3 years with their Poverty Eradication Program. He also assisted the Zimbabwe Education Department and Top Entrepreneurship College in setting up a Innovation Hub to expose school leavers to the idea of starting their own business.
